Leanna Dunsmore is a certified special education teacher with 13 years of experience working in education and supporting students and families in Connecticut and New York. She holds two master's degrees — in Childhood and Special Education, and in Marriage and Family Therapy — and is certified in Special Education and Elementary Education in both states. She has worked as a special education teacher in integrated co-teaching classrooms, an instructional coach, and a director of curriculum and instruction. Today, she's a special education resource teacher and case manager for students in kindergarten through 5th grade — providing small group instruction, overseeing IEP implementation, facilitating meetings, and partnering closely with families every day.
